Gina was the highlight of my mum's stay in Auckland Hospital. Not only was she kind, caring, confident and incredibly efficient at her job, but she also took the time to explain to mum what she was doing and why which meant the world to both my mum and dad.
Mum's journey has been incredibly emotional and post-surgery she reacted badly with the pain relief experiencing hallucinations and delirium, which we understood was normal, but it completely frightened her.
Gina supported mum through this journey and was absolutely wonderful. Her bedside manner needs to be taught to other staff members to show how it's done!
