Find the right care for you over the holidays

Do you know where to go if you are sick or injured over the holidays?

You should always go to the nearest hospital emergency department, or call 111 for life-threatening medical emergencies including:

  • chest pain
  • head injuries
  • severe blood loss
  • major accidents.

If you have COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms and urgently need our care, we have plans to keep you, and others safe. It is important you get the care you need.

If you're sick or injured and it’s not urgent, please contact your family doctor, or call Healthline on 0800 611 116 or visit an urgent care clinic.

If you are dealing with a crisis, call the Mental Health Crisis Helpline 0800 800 717.
